Daniel Peck
Interim Vice President, Instruction
The Office of Research, Planning, and Institutional Effectiveness provides research and planning services such that the College: has access to reliable data, analysis, and reports leading to informed dialogue and effective decision making; systematically assesses and evaluates student learning and success as part of a continuous process of improvement; and meets State and Federal reporting guidelines; within a shared culture of evidence. Daniel brings to Mission more than a decade of experience in institutional, education, and policy research. Daniel began working in institutional research at the University of South Alabama, served four years as Research Analyst at Mission College, and most recently supervised institutional research for Foothill College. Prior to working in institutional research, Daniel guided applied research for the United Way of Southwest Alabama, including policy evaluation, community scans, community surveys, and grants management. Daniel currently serves on the Institutional Review Board of San José State University and has been an active member and presenter with professional organizations throughout his career.
