Women's Tennis
Mission's tennis complex is one of the finest in the state with 8 lighted courts and a practice court with an Am-Ten ball machine. The facility has been used for Conference and Regional Tournaments. In 1999, 2002, and 2005, Mission College hosted the Women's Coast Conference Tennis Tournament. Also, Mission College is host to the largest pre-season tournement in women's intercollegiate tennis in Northern California; Mission was the tournament champion in 2002. The women have a competitive schedule in the Coast Conference and play some very strong non-conference teams. Each year the team travels to play the Ojai Invitational Tournament.
Our goal on the court is to develop players by focusing on their technique, movement, and balance. We set goals and maintain focus on achieving those goals. Integrity, discipline, and hard work will always produce the success we desire in athletics and life.
If you have an interest in playing Intercollegiate Tennis, check out the Mission College Women's Tennis team. We have some of the best courts in the state and enthusiasm to match. The education of our players is always our number one priority. We have an award-winning counselor, Donelle McGee, who advises athletes with their educational plans.
