Coach Corey Cafferata begins his fifth season at Mission, Corey took over a Mission program that started in 1998 and went 44 wins and 279 loses, Corey has gone 63 wins and 51 loses and including the 2013 undefeated league champions last season and was named the "Coast South Coach of the year. Corey has guide Mission to the playoffs the last three consecutive seasons and Mission has lead the league in Scoring the last three seasons, Mission scored over 100 points four times last season.

Coach Cafferata previously spent six seasons at Westmoor High School in Daly City winning four league championships with a Peninsula Athletic League record of 49 straight league wins.

As a Basketball player, Corey is the only player to be inducted to the city of Pacifica's Hall of Fame. Corey is Oceana High School's all time leading scorer, in three varsity seasons with 1,303 points. He would later play basketball at Sacramento City College and New College of California where he was named the Big PAC Player of the Year, and finished his college career at Florida International University. He also played professional basketball in Canada and Mexico and with Athletes in Action. Corey has a Master of Arts Degree in Sports Psychology. Corey has one daughter named Dezzirae.

Kesha Walker
Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball Program

Mission Basketball is proud to announce that Kesha Walker will be an assistant coach in the 2013-14 season. Kesha went to Wilcox high school played 4 years on the varsity basketball team. After high school she came to Mission College and played on their first inaugural Women's basketball team in 1998. Kesha then went on to coach highschool basketball at Fremont High School for 2 years both as a JV and Varsity basketball assistant, the following 8 years Kesha coached at Prospect High School as the Head JV basketball coach. Kesha is proud and excited to be a part of the Mission College Basketball program.
