Human Biology
Biological Sciences 11 is a general education course. The course, with both lecture and laboratory components, focuses on the concepts and principles of biology, with an emphasis on humans. Lecture: The lecture portion of the course is conducted online using resources available to registered students on the Angel Website. If you are a registered student, you will have access to the course materials two days prior to the first day of class (6/7). Feel free to log onto the website (see the directions below) and get started on lecture activities. There are 4 mandatory on-campus meetings during which you will take the lecture exams. Three midterm exams will be held on the following Wednesdays: 6/16, 6/30and 7/14 from 12:00-1:30 in SCI 120. The fourth and final exam will be held on Wednesday, 7/28 from 2:15-4:15 in SCI 220. Laboratory: You are expected to attend all mandatory on-campus laboratory sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:15-5:25 in SCI 220.
Please do not enroll in this course if you are unable to attend the labs and/or take all of the scheduled lecture exams.
