Biological Sciences 11 is a general education course. The course, with both lecture and laboratory components, focuses on the concepts and principles of biology, with an emphasis on humans.

Lecture:

The lecture portion of the course is conducted online using resources available to registered students on the Angel Website. If you are a registered student, you will have access to the course materials two days prior to the first day of semester. Feel free to log onto the website (see the directions below) and get started on lecture activities.

The mandatory introductory meeting will be held on Tuesday 6/7 in SCI 220 at 2:20-5:30pm

There are 4 additional mandatory on-campus meetings during which you will take the lecture exams. Three midterm exams will be held on the following Thursdays: 6/16, 6/30 and 7/14 in SCI 120 at the 1:00-2:00pm:

The fourth and final exam will be held on Thursday, 7/28 in SCI 220 at 2:20-4:20pm

Laboratory:

You are expected to attend all mandatory on-campus laboratory sessions, which meet every Tuesday and Thursday in SCI 220 at 2:20-5:30pm

 

Please do not enroll in this course if you are unable to attend the labs and/or take all of the scheduled lecture exams.
