HM Program Level Learning Outcomes

Apply safe food handling techniques in virtually any food service market segment.

Students will understand the concept of "service" and be able to train others to meet and exceed guest expectations in any
hospitality industry environment.

Students will gain and apply basic food service hands-on skill as well as learn fundamental food service operational practices

Perform necessary product and labor cost calculations, profit and loss statement development and analysis, periodic and perpetual inventory calculations and summaries; and be able to derive effective operational conclusions from the aforementioned data.

Demonstrate the ability conceptualize and to lead a diverse work crew in the cost effective execution of a restaurant environment,
