The faculty at Mission College are committed to providing the most current design instruction available while utilizing the latest techniques.

Mark Garrett

Mark Garrett teaches classes in web design, digital photography, digital video, and motion graphics, among others. He has a BFA from the University orf Arizona, and a Masters from UC Davis. He has worked as a professional web designer, photographer, and videographer, and has a lengthy fine art ehibition history.

Don Shields

Don Shields teaches animation, video game design, digital character animation, and digital art. He has a BFA from Washington University, and an MFA from Southern Methodist University. He received a Rome Prize and John Simon Guggenheim in painting, and his digital effects work received a Murphy Award. He has worked as a professional animator, modeler, video game effects artist, and in ink and paint. He has had New York painting shows, and exhibited his work extensively.
