Child Development Center

Our new Child Development preschool building opens in January 2011. The one story building has 5,200 square feet that includes two preschool classrooms, an atelier (art/project work area for children), an observation room that combines as a piazza for families and students, staff offices and a state of the art smart classroom for instruction of Child Development students. The design of the building was inspired by the programs of Reggio Emilia, Italy and incorporates a philosophy of sustainability, with an outdoor garden and two large play yards, community building and life-long learning. This state of the art building will support the combined purposes of:
