Library Courses

The library offers two courses, Library 10: Information Competency and Library 920: A Series of Workshops.

Library 10: Information Competency

Information Competency is a graduation proficiency requirement at Mission College. There are several ways to achive this proficiency:

• Successfully complete Library 10
• Pass the Mission College Information Competency Proficiency Exam
• Take a one-unit course at another college or university that has been deemed equivalent to Library 10

Library 920

This non-credit course consists of a series of workshops addressing specific areas of Information Competency which will help students doing research. Students may attend all or part of the offered workshops and may attend the workshops in any order.
