Test Schedules

Mission College is offering Year-Round Computerized Tests (English Placement, ESL Placement, Math Placement, Reading Placement, and Information Competency Exams). Appointments are not needed, students are tested on a "First Come - First Served" basis. Please report to Room: E1-101 to begin your testing.

Important Rules
  1. You must have a Mission College Student ID Number in order to take a placement test.
  2. Students are allowed to take the Placement Test two (2) times before enrolling in classes, but must wait one (1) week to take the test a second time (re-test).
  3. Once you enroll in an English, ESL, Reading, Library 10 (Information Competency), and/or Math class, you are no longer eligible to take any placement tests.
  4. Children, friends and family are not allowed to wait in the testing area.
  5. Please turn off your Cell Phone, Pager, PDA, MP3, iPod before entering the Assessment Center.
  6. You may not use a calculator on the Math Tests. Using a calculator is considered cheating, please read Rule Seven (7).
  7. If you are caught cheating, you will have to meet with the Dean of Student Services, and/or the Vice President of Student Services.
  8. If the Fire Alarm goes off: Pick-up your belongings, and go to Parking Lot "D". Await further instructions.

 

 

Placement Tests

Computerized Placement Tests

Appointments are not needed. All tests are done on a drop-in basis (first-come, first-serve).

We are located in the Assessment Center, Room: E1-101

You need to have a Mission College Student ID Number in order to take the test(s).

We offer the following tests:

1) English Placement

2) Reading Comprehension

3) ESL Placement

4) Information Competency Exam (Library 10)

5) ATB (Financial Aid)

EXTENDED TESTING SCHEDULE (Ends on Friday, September 3rd)

Week 3:

Monday, August 30th: (10:00am to 2:00pm) & (3:00pm to 7:00pm)

Tuesday, August 31st: (10:00am to 2:00pm) & (3:00pm to 7:00pm)

*Wednesday, September 1st: (no morning tests) & (3:00pm to 7:00pm)

Thursday, September 2nd: (10:00am to 2:00pm) & (3:00pm to 7:00pm)

*Friday, September 3rd: (9:00am to 11:00am)

Saturday, September 4th: ( Labor Day Weekend - School Closed)

 

REGULAR TESTING SCHEDULE (Starts on Tuesday, September 7th)

 

Monday: (9:00am to 1:00pm) & (2:00pm to 6:00pm)

Tuesday: (9:00am to 1:00pm) & (2:00pm to 6:00pm)
