Assessment Center Make Up Testing
The Assessment Center offers make-up test proctoring to all Mission College students. This service is designed to enhance student success and is used as a make-up test service only, not as the primary vehicle for testing. In an effort to manage the flow of students utilizing the service, we encourage faculty to consider other forms of make-up testing and to limit the service to tests that may be administered within a one to two week period after the original test date. We are located in the Main Building, room E1-101 and designate a series of dates and times each semester for make-up testing. Please check the schedule for drop in days and times:
Monday*: Finished
Tuesday*: Finished
Wednesday*: Finished
Thursday*: Finished
* The Assessment Center will be closed the 3rd Monday of each month, from 2:00pm to 3:30pm, for meetings. |
What You Should Know
Allotted Time. No appointment is necessary. However, students may only take a makeup test during the designated times. Students should allow time to check in, fill out any necessary paperwork and complete the test within the allotted time and by closing time of the Assessment Center.
Testing Environment. The Assessment Center strives to maintain an environment that is conducive to testing. We ask that students do not bring their children with them when testing and to turn off any electronic devices that are not being used for the test.
Identification. Students will need to bring a valid photo ID (i.e. Associated Student Body card, drivers license or work ID) verifying that they are the student designated on the request form to take the test. Students without a valid photo ID will not be allowed to take the test.
Policy On Cheating. The Assessment Center adheres to accepted practices of testing. If our proctor suspects cheating, the proctor will confiscate the test and follow college policy on student discipline as stated in the College Catalog.
