How do I find an Intern?

Mission College's Internship Program works in conjunction with the Cooperative Work Experience Office, and is coordinated with academic departments, and career service programs with the goal of better preparing students for work in their related fields of study.

When you are ready to hire an intern, develop a detailed job description and submit it to the Internship Program Office via fax, mail, or e-mail. Once received a job posting will be categorized according to job responsibilities and qualifications, and added to our internship binders.

Faculty and other staff members will be notified by the Internship Coordinator of the opportunity to help inform students of the open position. Students who are interested and qualified will then apply for the internship directly by sending you their resume.

If you are interested in announcing an available internship position within your company/organization, please fill out an Intern Request Form - Announcement (.pdf) and return it to the Internship Program Office. (This request form is also available in Microsoft Word).
