The graphic below represents the optimum partnership building paradigm for a successful course deployment and partnership creation:

Working with our client/partners the Workplace Learning Resource Center (WpLRC) at Mission Community College likes to form Planning Teams to establish how best to proceed with training that matches the client/partners' needs. The WpLRC prides itself in being able to tailor our analyses to the wishes of our client/partners.
The WpLRC can make use of a wide variety of assessment tools in order to match the training provided to the needs analyzed. Future participants must be assessed to see what tasks and skills need to be optimized to bridge the gap between the needs of the company and the abilities of the employees. Training to bridge this gap will ensure the success of both the company and the employee.
Assessment tools vary in what they assess and who they target. As examples, we have listed some of the tools that we have used in the WpLRC.
