EOPS has been a cornerstone of California Community Colleges since its inception in
1969, founded in the Civil Rights Movement. The goal was to support students affected
by language, social, and economic disadvantages. Mission College’s EOPS program has
been helping students succeed since 1979, consistently serving over 300 students every
semester.

NextUp supports current and former foster youth by providing academic counseling, financial help, educational support services, and more to assist students in reaching their college and career goals.
CARE helps single parents receiving public assistance through extra resources like tutoring, priority enrollment, financial support, counseling, & dedicated services to promote academic & personal success.
CalWORKs offers resources to students who are parents and receiving public assistance, including child care support, job placement services, and academic counseling.
